Students also have the opportunity to choose from a variety of electives classes offered throughout the year. The Middle School curriculum is driven by essential questions that are designed to fulfill Woodlawn’s mission:

- Seventh Grade: What does it mean to be human?
- Eighth Grade: How did we get here?
MIDDLE SCHOOL
DISTINCTIVE ELEMENTS
Woodlawn middle school students are immersed in social experiences to continue building on themes from lower school. Whether traveling abroad, taking part in an overnight trip or common hour on campus, our students benefit from a wide range of social interactions to build character, responsibility, and leadership skills.
“Woodlawn is special. The bonds between friends are unbreakable and the teachers are fabulous and caring. The Woodlawn Middle School is small and unique. Each class has their own personality and flair. There is no other school like Woodlawn. Woodlawn is my home.”
