family culture
COMMUNITY MATTERS
Woodlawn School is a culture of family, friends, and lifelong connections. When we get involved with our campus and local community, we lead by example by creating an environment of service, responsibility, and leadership for all.
WORKING TOGETHER
VOLUNTEER
Woodlawn families, students, faculty, and staff partner to bring about positive experiences of change and growth for everyone we meet both on campus and in our local communities. By giving your time and partnering with campus organizations such as Parent Connection, SteamFest, and the Woodlawn Mentor program, the Woodlawn community of parents and students are able to experience Woodlawn School at its very best.
PLANNING FOR OUR FUTURE
WOODLAWN GIVING
Our 61-acre campus features 9 buildings; 61 acres of woods and fields; gardens; outdoor classrooms; and a challenge course supporting our special emphasis on healthy, outdoor activities – 55 minutes of recess every day, for everyone! As our student community grows, so do our needs to sustain and to grow our campus to new heights.

STEAMFEST
WOODLAWN ALUMNI
While a Trailblazer, Ariana could often be found behind the lens of her camera. She was a member of a Woodlawn student-produced Public Service Announcement on mental health that gained national recognition in 2014. Ariana, like many of our graduates, has adopted the “and, not or” philosophy— a belief that you do not have to limit yourself to just a STEM or just an Arts field. At Woodlawn, she was allowed to integrate those two fields seamlessly and that has obviously carried over into her college career. Ariana was a member of Woodlawn’s first varsity swim team as well as the photo editor for several years on The Mighty Oak, Woodlawn’s yearbook.
