More Than Halfway There!
We hope everyone had a terrific Spring Break and you’re looking forward to spring at Woodlawn School. There’s so much going on! Chicks in Kindergarten, Senior Night, Heritage Fest, Earth Day, overnight trips galore, Commencement… and much more. What an outstanding spring is in store for our students!
If you haven’t already, we encourage you to join us in supporting these wonderful opportunities. The Woodlawn School Annual Fund not only helps to pay for the “extras” that make a Woodlawn education unique, but also helps address unexpected needs. Already this year, the funds raised have been used to replace the old lights in the Barn with more efficient and environmentally friendly LED lights, and — most importantly — the funds have been used to provide tuition assistance to fellow Woodlawn families who are in need of a little help due to unexpected circumstances. Without annual fund donors, these needs could not have been met.
Currently, we stand at 52% of our goal, with 50% of our families participating. (That’s fairly even with where we were at this time, last year — and we ended the year OVER goal, with family participation at nearly 75%, which is higher than the national average!) Here’s how our classes compare, with regard to percentages of families contributing to the Annual Fund:
Please help us reach our goal with a tax-deductible gift to the 2015-2016 Woodlawn Annual Fund. Join the terrific list of parents, grandparents, alumni, alumni parents, faculty and staff, Trustees, and corporate partners who generously have donated $93,684 in gifts to the 2015-2016 Woodlawn Annual Fund. What a terrific show of support for our students and teachers. Your commitment will enable our students to Dig In and Branch Out this year, and for years to come!
Like other nonprofits you support, Woodlawn’s program fees – in our case, tuition – cover only part of annual expenses. The remainder is covered by additional income, primarily gifts from donors like you. Our students and teachers benefit from your generosity. Click here to learn more.
