What is Carnival?
The Woodlawn Carnival is our inaugural evening of family fun and community celebration, where we gather with the extended Woodlawn community to raise funds and support our school. We would love for you to join us for a fun-filled evening filled with carnival games, delicious food, entertainment, and magical experiences for the whole family. The evening will feature classic carnival attractions, live entertainment, food vendors, prize games, and so much more.
As an independent school and a non-profit organization, Woodlawn School relies on philanthropic support to provide an exceptional and innovative learning environment. Tuition covers 90% of the school’s annual budget, and the ‘Blazer Fund, Woodlawn’s annual giving campaign, makes up the difference with donations from parents and the greater Woodlawn community.
The Carnival serves as one of the school’s major fundraising events. All carnival profits go to the ‘Blazer Fund to help reach the 2025/26 goal of $300,000. Your support helps Woodlawn in providing an intentional, innovative, and purposeful educational experience that is the hallmark of our project-based learning approach; improving the technology infrastructure of our campus; enhancing student health and wellness programs; and providing professional development opportunities to support our faculty.

The carnival is intended as a family-friendly event for our Woodlawn community and the greater LKN community.
What does it cost to attend and how do I purchase tickets?
Carnival Pricing:
- Quick Visit Pass (2 guests) – $50
- Family Fun Package (up to 5 guests) – $250
- VIP Family Experience (up to 5 guests) – $350
Ticket quantities are limited and will close on Monday, September 15th or when tickets sale out, whichever comes first. Tickets to attend Carnival must be purchased via the GiveSmart platform.

How many tickets does each activity cost?
Carnival activities range from 2 tickets per person up to 10 tickets per person.
What happens if I run out of tickets?
Not to worry! You may purchase more tickets via the GiveSmart mobile app (using your saved cc) before and during the event. Please look for the designated ticket tables to pick up your ticket bundles.
What forms of payment do you accept for game and activity tickets?
We accept cc payments via the GiveSmart app linked to your ticket account, cash or Venmo.
What should I wear?
Dress comfortably and be ready to experience the wonder at Carnival. Comfortable sneakers and weather-appropriate gear.
