Woodlawn Boys Win Second SPAA Meet; Six Personal Records Set

Sept. 23, 2015 – The Trailblazers returned to the friendly confines of McAlpine Park on a warm, windy afternoon just 4 days after their last visit. Junior Quinn Schneider nearly duplicated his most recent performance, running all alone in 1st place in a time of 16:47. He was followed by junior Zach Lorch, who recorded a season best time of 18:59, and sophomore Tripp Berini, who moved into the #8 spot on the all-time Woodlawn 5K list with a PR of 19:09. Rounding out the top 5 for the boys were 7th grader Joey Carol and junior Austen Castellano, who both set PRs with identical times of 20:20. Freshman Josh Earle and sophomore Wil Cannon also set personal records.

On the girls side, freshman Anne Cunningham finished in 2nd place, while freshman Ally Fleming recorded her fourth PR of the season at 26:11.
