September 8: Woodlawn vs United Faith
Today the ‘Blazers played hard in the heat and came away victorious in our first home conference game. As a team we were able to work the ball into the offensive end of the field on several occasions. This increased our shot total. Taking chances on goal today were: Al Wills ’20, Bennett Kolls ’16, Will Hedrick ’18, Wesley Neal ’19, Jake Johnson ’17, and Hank Grzeszczak ’19. Finding the back of the net, and responsible for each of our goals was Drew Hedrick ’16. Assisting Drew on his first goal was Wesley Neal ’19. In goal for the ‘Blazers was Nick Trovato ’19 who recorded 19 saves. Final score Woodlawn 3, United Faith 1.
