February 22: Woodlawn at NCISAA State Championships

The “Tiny but Mighty” swim team ended their season on a high note at the NCISAA 1A2A State Championships. Girls placed 16th out of 28 teams and boys tied for 15th out of 31 teams. Those scores reflect both 1A and 2A teams combined. Zach Lorch placed 4th in the 200 freestyle and 3rd in the 200 individual medley. Bella Jacoby placed 11th in both the 100 butterfly and the 100 freestyle. The whole team had a great meet and showed amazing sportsmanship. We are going to miss our seniors next seasons! Thank you Bella Jacoby (2 seasons), Spencer Gazzaway (2 seasons), Jocelyn Grzeszczak (2 seasons), and founding swim team member Ariana Hoshino (3 seasons).
