What is your dream for Woodlawn?

My dream for Woodlawn is to keep such a tight-knit and collaborative learning environment but expand to a larger scale. I hope that Woodlawn grows in numbers while maintaining a strong interdisciplinary and hands-on learning focus that has been so impactful on me and my classmates.

What will you remember most about being a student at Woodlawn?

Having been at Woodlawn since 1st grade, I have so many memories of being with all different grade levels: cheering with on our Maple family tree during pep rallies, playing outside with students ranging all the way from lower to upper school, and knowing almost everyone on a first name basis. I will definitely remember most the way Woodlawn invites you to create connections with everyone, no matter their age. I cherish the connections I have made with my classmates and my incredible teachers alike.

What is your favorite memory of your Senior year?

My favorite memory from senior year is being with my kindergarten buddies. I was paired with three, enthusiastic boys and I love seeing them be so curious and excited to learn everyday. They all are so different and it’s been such a great opportunity to help them create their unique Woodlawn experience and show them how this place is so special.

What will you miss most about Woodlawn?

I will miss the community and how for 12 years, Woodlawn has practically become my second home. From participating in four sports to founding my own club, I’ve been so lucky to have made a mark on the school and will miss all the people who have supported me in all my endeavors over the years. I’m so thankful.

What are you looking forward to as you start this exciting next chapter of your life?

I am confident that Woodlawn has prepared me for my next steps in life: academically, emotionally, and physically. I’m so excited to go college, meet people from all different backgrounds, and begin my professional goals of pursuing medicine and global health.
