We expect campers to act responsibly, be kind to others, and follow simple instructions. While we offer great programs for most children, we recognize that we may not be the best camp or have the appropriate support in place for all children, especially those who require special medical, behavioral, or social support.
All preschool campers must be potty trained before attending camp. There are no exceptions to this policy.
If you have questions about whether Woodlawn School offers a suitable camp experience and support for your child, please e-mail us at [email protected]

Electronics, including games, iPods, cell phones, and ear buds of any kind isolate individuals from the purpose of spending time together and making meaningful connections. We ask that if your child brings a cell phone or electronic device of any kind to Woodlawn School Summer Camps it remains in a book bag or tote so that it is not accessible during the day. Any participant who uses an electronic device during the day will be asked to put it away.
All families will receive an email from the camp instructor before the start date of camp, which will include specific camp details, camp location, and drop off and pick up instructions.

A Game with No Rules? Sounds like FUN!
Minecraft is a block-building sandbox game with no set rules, where you can build anything you can possibly imagine!
This is coding camp! Campers will learn with real code – young coders are often taught pseudo-code, which they often master very quickly. The problem is that it doesn’t prepare them enough for the jump to a real programming language and text-based code, so a lot of coders stop there.
We will use the sandbox game of Minecraft to transition from drag and drop to typing real code. The mysteries of real code are unraveled here for kids!
