Ready or not, Kindergarten, here we come! Woodlawn is thrilled to present our Kindergarten Discovery Day. This special event allows your future kindergartener to immerse in our classroom environment and experience the essence of a school day at Woodlawn.

Discover REAL Kindergarten Readiness
While your child enjoys quality time with our Kindergarten educators, you can connect with our administrative team and delve into our whole child approach to child development. At Woodlawn, we recognize that while the world evolves, the fundamental needs of our children remain constant. Now, more crucial than ever, our young learners require the freedom and support to nurture their innate curiosity through play and exploration, fostering the growth of their social-emotional and cognitive abilities, alongside mastering essential skills in literacy, mathematics, and science.

Kindergarten Discovery Day Schedule

9:30 am – 9:45 am – Meet and Greet with Kindergarten teachers and staff in our Kindergarten Classroom.
9:50 am – 10:50 am – Rising Kindergarteners engage in storytime, play, and readiness activities in the classroom. Parents have the opportunity to hear from administrators about our whole-child approach to Kindergarten. Optional tour of campus.
10:50 am – 11:00 am –  Pick-up rising Kindergarteners from class.
