Officials at the National Merit Scholarship Corporation announced today that four Woodlawn seniors – Sawyer Bowman (Cornelius), Terin Patel-Wilson (Mooresville), Sayre Weir (Davidson), and Pete Kvilhaug (Cornelius) – were named 2011 National Merit Commended Scholars. Commended scholars represent the top 3% of U.S. students, based on their junior-year PSAT test scores.

Woodlawn School is an accredited private school providing a project-based learning curriculum for Pre-K – 12 grade academics. Our historic 61-acre campus is located just north of Charlotte, NC in beautiful Mooresville, and within driving distance of Davidson, Cornelius, Huntersville, North Mecklenburg, and Concord.
