The people who make
it real.
Woodlawn educators chose this work on purpose. They came here because they believe in project-based learning, in extraordinary children, and in the kind of school that trusts both to do remarkable things together.
Educators who chose
this work on purpose.
Every adult at Woodlawn is here because they believe in what project-based learning produces and in the children it serves.

The teachers behind every project.
Inquiry over Imitation.
Every single day.
Teaching at Woodlawn looks different because it is different. Our educators design experiences, ask harder questions, and trust students to do real work. That takes a particular kind of teacher. We are fortunate to have them.
PBL Practitioners
Woodlawn faculty are trained and experienced in project-based learning, not as an add-on, but as the primary mode of instruction. They design backward from outcomes, build authentic assessments, and coach student work from inquiry to impact.
Lifelong Learners
We expect the same of our teachers as we expect of our students: curiosity, iteration, and growth. Woodlawn invests in ongoing faculty development, because the best educators are always becoming better ones.
Community Members
Our teachers don’t clock in and out. They know students’ names, remember last year’s projects, and show up for community events because they are genuinely invested in the Blazers they teach. Relationship is the foundation of everything here.
“The teachers here don’t just know my son’s name. They know his ideas, and they take them seriously.”Woodlawn Parent, Lower School
Let’s Build Futures
Together.
Woodlawn invites educators with a mindset for collaboration, inquiry, and lifelong learning to reach out to us. If you believe in extraordinary children and want to work somewhere that proves it every day, we want to hear from you.
