See the outcomes.
Meet the students
who built them.
Woodlawn offers three signature admission events each year. The best way to explore our school is to experience it firsthand.

PreK, JK + Kindergarten
Open House.
Discover the power of project-based learning at Woodlawn. This event lets parents of early childhood and kindergarten students experience innovative, purposeful learning on our 61-acre campus, meeting our administration and PreK, JK + Kindergarten staff.
PBL Day.
See the work.
Meet the ‘Blazers.
PBL Day is Woodlawn’s signature admission event, open to all prospective families across every grade level. On this day, students across campus share live project work: presentations, performances, demonstrations, and exhibits built around real questions they investigated.
This is a true introduction to the Woodlawn Way, where you will see the curiosity, impact, and wonder in the work that our students create here daily.
9:30 AM – 11:30 AM Live project shares across all grade levels. Visit classrooms, meet teachers, watch students present.

Discovery Days.
For our youngest future ‘Blazers.
Discovery Days are small group, teacher-led visit days for Kindergarten, Junior Kindergarten, and Early Explorers (PreK) applicants. The morning is designed to feel familiar and comfortable for young children, mirroring a real school morning in the Early Childhood classrooms.
While your child is with our teachers, you will have the opportunity to meet the administrative team and learn about our whole-child approach to early childhood education.

register?
Both events are free and open to prospective families. Space is limited. We serve families across Mooresville, Davidson, Cornelius, Huntersville, and Lake Norman.
