Discovery Days are small group, teacher-led mornings designed for prospective PreK, Junior Kindergarten, and Kindergarten families. Your child will spend time in the classroom. You will meet our team and learn about our whole-child approach.
A morning that feels
like school already.
Discovery Days are designed around one goal: to create a space where the youngest children feel comfortable and at ease. The morning mimics a real school day in our Early Childhood program, led by our Early Childhood teachers in small groups. Children explore, play, and begin to get a feel for what Woodlawn is.
While your child is in the classroom with our teachers, you will have dedicated time with our administrative team to learn about our whole-child approach, ask questions, and understand what the Early Childhood program at Woodlawn builds.
Discovery Days are approximately one hour in length. They are for applicant families and, for the Kindergarten date, new siblings are welcome to attend as well.
