Cross country at Woodlawn began in 2003 on the wooded paths surrounding this campus. What started as the school’s first interscholastic competition is now one of the most decorated programs in North Carolina 1A athletics.

Woodlawn fields competitive cross country teams with no cuts and no fees. Every enrolled Middle or Upper School student who wants to compete has a place on the roster. The program is built to develop athletes from wherever they start and challenge them through every season.

NCISAA 1A State Champions, Woodlawn’s first state championship since 2016.

Claimed the conference championship alongside the state title.

All five varsity boys runners finished inside the Top 10 and earned All-State honors.

Both the boys and girls Middle School teams finished as Conference Champions, with numerous personal records throughout the season.
