STEAMfest @ DAVIDSON FARMERS MARKET

Visit the Davidson Farmers Market on Saturday, September 16 from 9 AM to 12 PM and see the world under a microscope. Using a powerful video microscope, we’ll be examining water and moss samples collected on local greenways looking for tardigrades (water bears) and other tiny animals. This is a unique opportunity to see some of the smallest members of our ecosystems in a world normally hidden from the naked eye.
Woodlawn School is an accredited private school providing a project-based learning curriculum for Pre-K – 12 grade academics. Our historic 61-acre campus is located just north of Charlotte, NC in beautiful Mooresville, and within driving distance of Davidson, Cornelius, Huntersville, North Mecklenburg, and Concord.
