Varsity Track & Field at Victory Christian
Another meet, another seven school records set! Coming off spring break week, our runners, jumpers, and throwers looked very sharp. The surprise of the meet was 7th grader Natalie Boyle, who stunned the high jump field with a winning and state qualifying jump of 4 feet 11 inches – a new school record. 9th graders Megan Dailey (100m) and Morgan Klein (triple jump) also set school records for the girls squad. On the boys side, senior Drew Hedrick finally ended his quest to break the 100m school record held David Keener ’13. Juniors Jake Johnson (triple jump), Matt Childers (shot put) and Zach Lorch (300m hurdles) broke their own school records. View the results below.
