Varsity Track & Field at Woodlawn Home Meet #2

This time it was the Woodlawn girls who rose up and placed first in the team scoring – besting three larger schools on a wet Alumni Track and Field. The Lady Trailblazers were led by Megan Dailey and Natalie Boyle in the points-scoring department, along with a new school record in the pole vault (9 feet) set by freshman Hadley Zucker. The boys were narrowly edged by 3A school Covenant Day in the team scoring, but it was a red-letter day for senior Jake Johnson, who broke school records in the 100m, 200m, and long jump, in addition to anchoring the school-record setting 4 x 400m relay team.
