The Blazers held the Patriots scoreless through halftime with tough defense from the back four — Lily, Jeremy, Michael and Kayla — and Jacob in goal. The second half began with a flurry of three goals from Liberty Prep. The Blazers battled back with shots from Joey, Jesse, and Jackson, but just as they were building momentum, a lightning storm hit. The game was called with 15 minutes remaining, and the score stood at 3-0, in favor of the visitors.
