On Thursday, May 28, 2026, the Class of 2026 became Woodlawn’s 17th graduating class. Fifteen new seniors joined our alumni.
Their chapter at Woodlawn is complete. What they build next is just beginning.

Kathleen Elkins

Forrest Daugherty
Forrest graduated from Princeton with a BS in Economics, magna cum laude. He traveled to Greece and Colombia during his time at Woodlawn and pursued rowing with the school’s full support. He went on to Credit Suisse and then TPG Global in San Francisco.

John Patrick Shaw

Zach Lingle
Zach earned his PharmD from UNC Chapel Hill’s School of Pharmacy, magna cum laude, and is now a Nuclear Pharmacist at Cardinal Health. A National Merit Commended Scholar and AP Scholar with Distinction, Zach credits Woodlawn’s advanced sciences with launching his interest in pharmacy.

Will Hedrick ’18.
“There was never a second thought as to whether I could or could not. That view started at Woodlawn.”
Will Hedrick ’18 · High Point University · Founder, Speek + The Hedrick Project
Will graduated from Woodlawn in 2018 after eleven years. His Senior Capstone, “What Creates a Successful Entrepreneur?”, led directly to his first company, Hedrick Custom Designs, co-founded with his brother Drew ’16. The furniture business used materials fabricated on the Woodlawn campus. Will then launched Speek, a real estate brokerage, and later founded The Hedrick Project, a mission-driven nonprofit. He studied Entrepreneurship and Social Media Marketing at High Point University.
Several of the custom furniture pieces he built during his Senior Capstone remain on the Woodlawn campus today.
