Class of
2014
University of Pennsylvania. RISD. Artists, scholars, and advocates. A class that went everywhere from Wall Street to Nashville to the stages of New York.

“My fellow students ceased to be my classmates a long time ago. They are my second family.”
John Patrick Shaw ’14 · University of Pennsylvania ’18 · Political Science · Paralegal, Ropes + Gray · New York City
JP spent ten years at Woodlawn, serving as co-editor of the Woodlawn Lamplighter for two years and contributing author for three. A National Merit Commended Scholar and AP Scholar with Distinction, he earned a Political Science degree from the University of Pennsylvania and went on to Ropes and Gray LLP in New York City. “I know everyone’s name,” he once said of Woodlawn. A decade later, that is still true.
