Amelia wrote about what made Woodlawn unique: a senior from AP Biology staging a “murder” to help ninth graders learn DNA forensics, Spanish class held outside playing Simon Says, volleyball games conducted entirely in Spanish. She credited Woodlawn’s nature-embedded learning with preparing her to pursue ecology or environmental biology at UNC Chapel Hill, where she graduated magna cum laude.
