Fall Bake Sale Benefitting Piedmont Animal Rescue

Woodlawn’s 1st and 6th grade animal advocates will be holding their annual Fall Bake Sale on Wednesday, October 18 benefitting service partner, Piedmont Animal Rescue. You can purchase delicious homemade cookies for $1.00 during the lunch period. Cookies offered will be chocolate chip, snickerdoodle and sugar cookies.
Last year’s Bake Sale events raised almost $1,000 for Piedmont Animal Rescue.
Piedmont Animal Rescue is in great need of resources this season with their intakes at full capacity. They are in need of fosters, donations, and any help you can give. Woodlawn School is an accredited private school providing a project-based learning curriculum for Pre-K – 12 grade academics. Our historic 61-acre campus is located just north of Charlotte, NC in beautiful Mooresville, and within driving distance of Davidson, Cornelius, Huntersville, North Mecklenburg, and Concord.
Due to inclement weather predicted to impact our community, we will move to virtual classes for all Woodlawn students, Pre-K through 12th grade, tomorrow, January 9. In addition, all athletic practices and events are postponed.
