Spikes, kills, attacks, blocks … no it’s not a video game … it’s volleyball. Every time one of our volleyball teams takes the court, the crowd goes wild! Volleyball is a fast paced sport that is as much fun for the spectators as for the players. Volleyball requires practice, coordination and above all teamwork.
The Girls Varsity team started in 2009 in the Mid-State Conference and moved to the NCISAA in the Southern Piedmont Athletic Association conference in 2014.
Since boys volleyball is not yet recognized by the NCISAA, the Boys Varsity team, which debuted in the spring of 2022, plays “club” against teams from the greater Charlotte area ranging from small 1A private schools to 4A public schools.
The Girls Varsity and Girls Middle School teams play in the fall and the Boys Varsity team plays in the spring.
