August 17: Woodlawn at Hickory Grove Christian
Our preseason match against Hickory Grove Christian School gave us an early opportunity to see where we stand both in terms of fitness and team play. With only seven field players in front of Nick Trovato ’19 our Trailblazers battled into the second half before falling to the Lions by a score of 9-0. Hank Grzeszczak ’19 recorded our lone shot, a left footed attempt that sailed up and over the left corner. Trovato ’19 finished the game with 17 saves on 26 shots.
